UPSHPA (United Physicians, Surgeons & Healthcare Professionals Association) is Canada’s first independent federal medical registry. We provide alternative licensing, accreditation, and professional advocacy to protect and empower healthcare professionals. Our members gain access to legal support, career opportunities, and independent medical facilities.
Unlike provincial regulatory bodies, UPSHPA is not controlled by government agencies. We offer alternative licensing pathways (ALP) that allow qualified doctors, nurses, and healthcare professionals to practice without unnecessary restrictions. Our goal is to ensure patient care comes first while protecting the rights of medical professionals.
